The Lochnagar Crater Foundation receives no official financial support and all funds needed for its upkeep are raised entirely by voluntary donations.
Thousands of hours of labour and tens of thousands of pounds have been spent to provide year-round, free, safe and rewarding access to visitors. It is increasingly recognized as an international symbol of peace and reconciliation.
