Social Media Strategy For Lochnagar Path Of Peace

  • 12 April 2019
  • Appeals, Foundation, General

We have created a strategy for the progressive launch and ongoing promotion of the Lochnagar Path of Peace project. We are in the process of adding a special page on the Lochnagar Crater Foundation website where people can make ‘The Lochnagar Promise to the Fallen’ and where their promise will add to a ‘counter’. We have devised a Twitter campaign of weekly Tweets with ideas and suggestions for ‘acts of good’ and with the aid of ‘#hashtags’ folk will be encouraged to say what they have done. This will combine with a dedicated ‘Lochnagar Path of Peace’ Facebook page (separate and different to the excellent Friends of Lochnagar page) where we will be able to engage with people about the broader aims and objectives of the project. We are also contacting a number of ‘influencers’ across a broad range of fields and asking them to join us in promoting the Path of Peace. Preliminary contacts have been very encouraging.
